No New Posts Upper Grasslands

The grass stands shoulder high on a male lion here, and is the most fragile land in all of Zonta, due to tall grasses being the only roots to hold the soils.

Prey; White tailed deer, Roe deer, Hares, and rodents

No New Posts Low Grassland

A valley sheltered between two meager hills, this area homes shrub-like plants. It is also the location of a small body of water that is fed by underground streams, so it has not even dried up completely during the long-term droughts that swept the land in prior years. The water is guarded by thick bunches of cattails around its edge.

Prey; White tailed deer, Roe deer, Hares, and rodents.

Predators; Fox, Hawks, and snakes

No New Posts Zonta Camp

Not far from the low grassland, which had been the only source of water at one time, the camp lies covered beneath thick canopy of vines and trees. It is relatively dry, comparatively speaking, and made in soft grasses. The shelters are made of the strong pines and brambles that circle thickly around the camp, beds soft with fresh moss.

Prey; Rodents, and small land birds

Predators; Hawks, and fox
