Personality: Ayita has changed a great deal since falling in love. She still holds much compassion, but finds herself withholding it on a much more regular basis. All attention is reserved for her love, Paradox. She has become far more independent and secretive, and perhaps even a little defensive or aggressive. The dog no longer holds loyalties to her split apart pack, just her Paradox. Though she gets regretful of her choices at times, this stone hearted girl throws them aside and stares strongly at the opposers. The only one to see her break down is Paradox, and even he does not know the half of it. She wants to nurture him and comfort him and she often hides her own miseries to be sure she can heal his. The only other dog that holds her true devotions is her brother.
On the topic of that boy--she blames herself for what he brother was. She could have helped him but, instead, she took the easy way out and claimed a mercy kill. But there is no mercy in a kill when there's another way. The girl is shattered, and she won't let anyone pick up the pieces.
Still part of the pack?: No.
*Rank: lead herbalist
History: Her humans were like most others in raising her; cold, ruthless, unloving. But these things did not stop her from molding into the mother of the den, the one who comforted the frightened pups (even if they were older than herself), including her brother. The boy was her world. Usually this sort of kindness is beat out of a dog, or that Folami is killed, but the humans let her live. She knows it was so she could be a mother to all the unloved pups in the pack. When her brother was stolen from her, that kindness wavered, but it eventually won out. A day before being released, one of the training felines (the bait) escaped with her cub. Ayita tried to lovingly coax the mother and child back to her cage, so as to spear them from an untimly death, but the mother ocelot grabbed hold of Ayita's front paw, tearing deep into her flesh. It was then Ayita realized that though they were living creatures, the felines were in the prey catorgory; stupid and not understanding. This settled her disgust for killing the felines. Her wound was wrapped up and the girl was released into the pack, content to be with her own kind. Over a year has passed and the injury left a scar. Though she is not vain, she keeps the cast on her out of habit. She has since been reunited her her now dismantled brother.
The girl sided with Carska when Lucifer came to rule over the pack after Bidziil's dognapping. After helping Paradox overcome the shock of the final kill, the two were caught by Lucifer and banned from the pack. She missed Carska and her family, but the dog then began to convince herself that Paradox is all she really needs. She threw out the image of her brother. And now she has burned it.
When Carska's pack broke off, Ayita and her Pari joined them. She fought by their side in the war against brothers. Her brother. She killed him. She hasn't let herself forget it. Though, by the grace of a god she still tries so hard to deny, Ayita was handed an opportunity to talk to Kamau again. In this dream he thanked her. Ayita wants to believe that it was really her brother, but she can't help but be convinced it was only her heart. Either way, she has let a little bit of comfort leak into her heart from it.
