I promptly rose to my paws on Carska's command. It was obvious she found some level of annoyance or perhaps dark amusement, something like that, in the mutt's devotion to the fea. I thought it was just a bit funny, myself. But as was normal I kept such feelings to myself, my maw remaining pleasantly neutral as I adjusted to a sitting upright position. I remained an image of calmness as I wrapped my tail around my paws. Secretly in my mind, I huffed in discontent about being back up so quickly after laying down.
Something about the whole pack gathered up in one spot, it was enlightening, I found myself in such a good mood at the site of us all assembled. And as Logan spoke, I found a grin coming to my face. Then suddenly, Ekshen burst into song, I couldn't help but smile blissfully. I understood. Ekshen had just experienced something that I had many a time.
