...I really just wanted to do a poll so THERE.
I actually have two questions. But let's cover the poll question first.
So I know my inspiration is a tricky thing. To counter this, I put all my focus into a thing that I'm like all "TELL ME IF I HAVEN'T DONE IT YET" and "HARRASS ME" and "WOULD YOU DO THIS FOR ME?" and put it into poetry and throw characters into roleplay sites (adapted properly, of course) to try and round up a nigh-constant inspiration.
Of course I still work on other things. And for this I try and do two at once. This being said...
Which ones should I throw my crazy idea-efforts into? Which ones are YOU GUYS willing to help with?
I plan to do two - one current and one unstarted. Here's the listings.
CURRENT:
unicorn valley;; Stubborn-as-a-mule Isabella drags her shy friend into a dare with her. Sleep in the "haunted" Ivy House for a night. There, Isabella runs into a rat-like creature and a creature she has no name for. Lead into multiple Realms, she and Rosita must discover their mysterious abilities and save the unicorns from the person who wants to massacre all of them. It's my baby story - I've had it forever, though it's developed with me.
glorier;; "There once was a God, and he was bored..." Four planets - three inhabited, one devoid of life - circle around a star called Glory. In a universe separate from our own, there unique and fascinating creatures make their home in a world where Gods have power and effect their lives. With completely unique species, each world a unique story, and multiple unique gods, this is a massive undertaking. But I'm about three-quarters there already, if I can just sprint for the finish line.
arding;; Arding is a town somewhere in Washington state. You can't find it, on a map or otherwise, unless you're looking for it. There, odd things blend in. Humans and things of myth exist side by side, and rather happily, too. Your next door neighbor may actually have a kelpie and not just horses in your stable... but don't worry. It's safe. Mostly.
UNSTARTED:
One;; Realm Journeying. A mysterious being of untold power and her followers has recently started causing havoc upon a variety of realms. She comes and goes as easily as the summer wind. More of a plot-initiator, something I plan to integrate into Arding and Glorier roleplays. Possibly con other fantasy-based or -integrated sites into using her.
Two;; Soulless. A girl without a soul. No emotion. No fear, or hate, or love, or hope. Nothing. No pain when cut; no pleasure when touched. No desires, dreams, or ambitions. No worries or regrets. An empty shell, grown into mimicking things. She can feel physical touch but it causes no emotional or hormonal reaction in her. It's simply there. As is she. Existing but unable to live. *possibly able to be converted into a BT character*
Three;; The "I" Story. I have written exactly one story within a whole year that's first person. I feel an urge to write in first person, but all my inspirations turn to third person. Help me hunt an idea, help me find a character I really adore... Let me write a story. A story that shall of course be posted on BT in the "the world is a book" section.
Please vote for one of each!
Now then, my second question. Which requires responses.
I AM COMING TO BT FOR RELATIONSHIP ADVICE, SO SHUT UP AND HELP ME
I have a friend named Tony. I have known him since forever. We met in preschool, in the park by our houses.
I have also had an on-and-off crush on him for a while. As of late, I've been thinking of asking him out. Normally I'd get fancy one day and pull him aside and ask. But Tony...
He is painfully, horribly, terribly shy. He literally has no other friends except for me. And he hangs out with other people but... He's actually pretty anti-social. I really DO NOT want to jeopardize our friendship. I know that if/when we'd break it off I could go back to being "just friends" in an okay way, but he... I'm not so sure about.
He'd be a great boyfriend, however. How do I know? He's a great friend. He's also one of the few people taller than me, and even though he's pretty skinny I don't feel like a total fattie around him (which I do around most sticks). He's adorable. Blue eyes and blonde hair and a cute uber-shy smile and --- okay, okay, I'll stop.
Sooo I know some of you people are shy and socially awkward. I'm just wondering if any of you can help me out with my dilemma. Do I or don't I ask him out?
I should pray some more, I've only prayed twice, but both times I just ended up confused. Me, used to getting answers on the first time I pray, find this a bit disorienting. Are my feelings (yes) getting in the way of the Father's message (no)?
So yeah, I essentially need some advice on what to do. Yeah.
