I stood fast against the thickness of the rain, eyes narrowed against the dialogue. It was brilliant really, after all that heat. The gift of rain. Some folami were starting to worry about it, but how? How could you ever have too much rain? Water was a life force after all. Especially out here in the sands. They rippled under it. Wind and rain combining to paint pictures in the ground. Despite the constant pitter patter of rain drops it didn't seem to be getting much muddier then it was. All that life just soaking right into the sand. Absorbed into the sponge to support all of the life that must be just adoring it all. Imagine how little water this place normally had! Weren't these sorts of flood level rainstorms normal for deserts?
My paws sunk into the ground, slicking sand into my pale fur. It was mildly annoying, but not enough to distract me form my peering into the darkness of the dusk rain. I was curious and had come out here because of it. I'd never seen hide nor hair of the other pack, and I couldn't help but want to. Carska didn't seem all that worried by them. She'd even sent Bidziil home the day before, so it couldn't be that bad could it? They all acted like they were the worst things ever but that couldn't be right. Could it? I mean nothing could get much worse then humans, though if they were like Mahal said and were human worshipping... How could you worship something that would murder you? My face contorted from curiosity to confusion. People had really weird concepts of gods. All of them. Weird.

Deftones - Tempest
Inarakk: Oh, what a poor, naive girl. She didn't know about the whispered monster now roaming free across the land. She didn't know how it liked the rain. She didn't know how it craved for a good trip and the sensation of a fea's body. She didn't know about how I was more then willing to take them and disappear into the dusk. She didn't know, but she was about to learn. I needed a victim tonight. Especially thanks to that other side. There where two of us in this head of mine, and the other had royally pissed me off for fighting me for so long. He was no saint himself, but he was still pathetic. I was the monster. I was the stronger one. I deserved control more. I deserved everything. It was all mine by right.
This one was hard to stalk, out here in the open, but I was still a skilled hunter. I'd ventured half way into Vea Apxn land, staying hidden until the chance presented itself, which it did in the form of one scent trail venturing off on its own. I'd followed this trail all the way out here into the fading light. The rain had been a small blessing, oh how nature had it out for you my girl. My poor, naive, curious little girl. Your soul's about to become my personal property. The rain made it hard to follow scent, unless you'd already caught it, and by now I'd established a line of site, she was a mark in my field of vision, and she was an attractive one. Much better then the little mutt I'd scored last time, and much much better then the brute my other side had recently fooled with. I began to press my advance now, with the light fastly receding. Moving from scrub to scrub, I stayed low, and out of site as I made my way up behind her. No, just taking this one wouldn't be enough. I needed to harm, I needed to torment. I needed to ruin this creature.
As I got closer, my heart began to race. I was like hell born demon in the dusk, my pitch black pelt, the markings upon my face, and the raggedy bandages that covered the massive burn scar on my lower hind leg. All this topped off by my glowing yellow eyes. Finally I made it in close to her, and inched forward with each passing moment. Finally, once in close, I spoke just as a bolt of lightning clawed the sky, and for a moment my whole figure was visible as I mused the words "Теперь вот" Now Behold
I fixed her with my gaze, having do my best to appear out of nowhere like a phantom in the twilight. My words fell coldly from my lips. "You seem lost, so far from home and all alone." I grinned sickly inward to myself, but outwardly my face remained cold. This was like a drug I was addicted to. I couldn't wait

I jolted rather strongly, body turning with a surprised gasp as I focused on the appearance of a new man. I didn't recognize him and he smelled horribly of other folami. The white marks on his face were interesting though. Man made? It worried me a fraction that man would put such a mark and I wondered what it was for but such things didn't truly restrain my curiosity. The rain was pouring and his grand entrance had given me a massive fright, but despite it all my white fur lay flat and I turned to him fully. "Oh no. This... this is the edge of my home. I think." Okay so maybe I was a little bit uncertain of where I was, but I knew that the border was a bit of a ways in front of me. Oh! Oh my. I flicked my ears back at him, looking for a moment even more uncertain.
He was trespassing of course but... he didn't seem to have any intention of anything too horrible. I couldn't see anyone else with him. It couldn't be all too horrible could it? "Your on someone else land you know" I added after a moment, puffing out my chest in the hope that I looked at least a little bit commanding. Maybe just a bit. This big ebony hound was larger then me by a few inches. My ears fell backwards slightly though, dual painted eyes turning cautiously away. Why was this big brute on Vea Apxn land? It made me nervous to say the least. I had never been with the original pack and thus did not know their scents but my nose twitched uncertainly. Had I just brought something onto myself that had best been avoided.
