Malika ________________________________________________________________ The forest was eerily quiet as the moon began to crawl slowly across the sheet of pure black, dotted with shimmering white stars, which twinkled and winked like ghostly eyes. There was no breeze to stir the bushes or to awake any sleeping creature- if any should choose to be awake at such an hour, other than the nocturnal creatures such as the owls and the bats. Even they where nowhere to be seen.
Suddenly, the bushes rustle, breaking the silence almost awkwardly, as if it were interrupting something. Out of the shadows from the place where the bushed rustled, into the cold silver moonlight walks a female leopard, head low and eyes glowing amber against the black, blue, and silver. She walked a few paces across the cold grass before raising her head, ears flicking forwards and whiskers quivering as she scented the air. Her breath steamed in the icy cold of the night, swirling into clouds around her head.
'What a place to choose to hunt. Its like a ghost town round here' Malika thought to herself as she continued to walk, returning her head to its original position. It seemed like she wasn't going to get anything at this rate, what with the silence making every movement so much less discreet... and nobody or no prey to even sense the movement anyway. Hardly a bug stirred beneath her paws.
It was a utterly miserable night for Malika, and it showed on her delicate features, her eyes almost like that of a lost cub.

Life is a game of chance, only the lucky win.
Life was a tragedy, and he moved through its silence with the air of the overcommer. His dark form was lost in the web of foliage, the golden eyes where the only thing visable in the world. Glaedr's soft face lifted to watch the stars. This silence was worrying. Silence was a state of waiting, waiting for attack or morning. Whichever, it remained worriesum. Drawing a salmon pink tongue across his whiskers, the muscular tom stepepd forward once again. His lean wiry body pressed silently through the inght, the black air doing nothing to lessen his movements despite its near ink like quality.
But then, there was sound? Glaedr's blakc skull lifted slowly, the tips of his ears and his eyes peering over the brush surrounding him. His eyes landed rather curiously on the other animal creeping through the night. The silver moonlight glowed on her fur, and no matter how he looked at her, his eyes swivling across her beautiful form, he could find no flaw in her outward apperance. But caution is nessicary. And so with a low mewl of interest the large black jaguar blinked from his half hidden face and lout out a louder call.
If she chose to runt hen so be it, he would find someplace else to sleep in this dark lonsom night.

Malika ________________________________________________________________ Malika climbed onto a small rock just inside the line of the bushes, bathed in cold moonlight. As she stepped onto it she looked almost like a statue carved in stone, the majority of her body shadowed with just the glow of her amber eyes and the moonlight to give her away.
There was something oddly tense about the silence. It felt like the few moments before you come close to death, where everything just slows down, and you turn to instinct. Malika's instincts where tingling, and she felt oddly nervous, always scenting and looking around. There was always such a thing as too quiet to her.
Her ears suddenly pricked forward as a miniscule sound broke the deathly silence. It was so sudden and small Malika wondered if she was just imagining it... Malika turned and leapt down from the rock, her body moving like liquid silver, her senses trying to pick out anything which could be lurking around.
As a louder noise came through the silence, Malika was least to say intrigued. Curious, she sniffed the air. The stench of some male cat wafted over her nostrils, and she raised her head in alarm, noticing a pair of eyes looking out at her through the darkness.
She gave a low meow of greeting, more curious than frightened.

Take this! there's always a flaw Take this! A flaw that gets in Her voice was curiouse, and his own curiosty won out against caution. Strding from his shadowed place, the black man stepped into her open clearing. The moon set his blakc pelt awash with silver light, revealing the darker spots rippling through it. Underneath one amber eye resides four parrellel scores, these scars too where lit up by the disturbingly silent light. His amber eyes flickered a lit in the moon wash. "Hello, Ma'am. I apologize if I frightened you" his curved ears flicked back for a moment before drawing forward once more. Tail whisking behind him the man sat carefully, strong limbs pressed to his slightly paler belly.
The shadows appeared to be drawing him in, despite the moon light. Their edges hunkered and hid in his pelt, refusing to be washed away. Those scars on his cheek glittered and glowed in a ghastly manor. His soft frown turned into a light smile as he adressed the woman, her spotted pelt also glowing in the white light of the round moon. The slightest brazilian edge hung in his words, giving them a candense rarly heard in this american homeland. "I am Glaedr, and if it isn't too bold of may I ask why you are out here all alone? Pretty woman have a dangerouse path to walk in the night." He tipped his head slightly, watching her. Waiting for a responce. Maybe she thought him to be a stalker, or some other creeper int he night.
Oh well let her react as she will. He would remain detached no matter how she spoke. It was rare for anyone to sneek into his heart. Best not let his guard down though.

Malika ________________________________________________________________ Malika kept oddly still as the male slunk out of the shadows. She couldn't help finding something about him oddly interesting. Maybe it was just because it was rare to stumble upon another so welcoming in these turbulent times, where you can never really trust anyone. Maybe it was just her own curiosity, but there was no time to ponder.
The leopard flicked the tip of her tail in what was almost embarrassment at hearing such kind... words from someone who seemed to be so dark, one with the night. Malika felt almost like an angel in comparison, the moonlight shimmering on her fur and outlining each hair in cold silver-blue light.
She bowed her head slightly, her eyes remaining still bright and warm in the ghostly forest. "Don't worry about it." Malika spoke quietly, almost as if, if she spoke to loud she would be disturbing something important going on in the darkness. "Glaedr. That's a very... handsome name. I'm Malika..." She almost wanted to say mysterious, but bit it back in case Glaedr was offended by it.
"Pretty? I doubt that." Malika said with slight amusement. "Well... I was hunting but I guess I chose the wrong night to do so. What with the moon so bright and the forest so quiet" She kept her eyes on Glaedr, who seemed fascinated at her appearance. Well he isn't without his... features either. Heh
Malika was finding it kind of hard to react to anything. Something had her mind captured in a invisible snare, strong as a human trap, which blocked out any of her 'normal' thoughts.
OOC: This post is realllly bad sorry ;o;

His body settled into a seated position, tail curling about his large paws. It was odd, this meeting. Now a days you half expected to die every time you came upon a stranger. And here they where having a nice little chat. It was odd to say the least. Sad when this became the odd scenario.
The scars under his right eye ached as he smiled. "Thank you, Malika" his voice was low and methodical as always. He was a scholar, not a warrior he had no use for a big powerful voice. Flicking his ears, the man turned slightly as if to shove the gliding darkness off him, not that it worked. Nosing his shoulder for a moment he returned his watery yellow gaze to the leopard before him.
Hunting huh? Didn't seem like a good night for that at all. He shrugged in response to her words. "The night is light and quiet, but you'd think that would draw out some more warm bodies" His Brazilian accent grew thicker for a moment before he shifted it away from his tongue. "It would seem not, though" he twitched his whiskers in a teasing manor.
He turned his eyes to the brush for a moment before gluing them back to her eyes. It was bad manors to not look someone in the eyes. He was not a man of poor behavior. So he would ask a neat little question meant only for a chat between people who would never again meet. " Do you live near here? AH but I suppose that is the wrong question to ask seeing as you don't know my ways at all" he tilted his skull just slightly. "I apologize im a bit of an information gatherer, and I've been told not to ask such personal questions"
Glaedr was unsure if that had been a personal question, but he knew he wouldn't want some random dark pelted feline knowing where he slept. Turning his gaze back to the brush he stared off into space for a moment thinking of something else to ask. "Has the moon been this bright for a wile? I see its been full for two days or so, but was it quiet this bright yesterday?" The moon cycle was something he was very interested it.
