Personality: He used to be happy. He used to be proud. He used to be, but he isn't now. A thick sorrow weighs this tomcat down, loathing himself for what he has done. Individuality is something he prides in, but even then he tends to keep his head low. This cat can be labeled as anti-social, for he never wants to feel the pain again; the pain of knowing he hurt the one he loved. In the back confines of his mind, he longs to find his former friends, beg the forgiveness of his beloved. But that want is locked away, the key hidden by his sense of self-hate.
What made them decide to escape?: A murder ape set him and his mother free.
History: He was born into a human's home, and grew up a single cub with his mother, Kari. The humans he and his mother belonged to were fair, though not the best. One day, a young murder ape set him and Kari free, though he barely remembers it himself.
Kari relished in the wilderness, fortunately remembering how to hunt and most other basic survival skills, so he was taught well how to be an ocelot. His view on humans were that they were okay and tended to keep to themselves. He vaguely remember being in the human home, just that they were kind enough to set them free.
However, while he and Kari were wandering one day, they came across a country home and his mother was shot and killed. He fled and in grief didn't take care of himself for many days. During this time, his view of humans changed. he knew that some were kind and others cruel, just like some cats of his own species.
Three months passed before he got over his mother's death. He wandered on his own. He had had little contact with humans, and was somewhat wary with them, although he still believed that they can be good.
Not far after his getting over his mother's passing, Alec wandered across Bhuvana and Alia. He found them both out to be Peace Leaders, which began his unease. His heart had fallen for Bhuvana, but with her high importance, he felt there was no hope. He tried to leave, she wouldn't let him, so he had to throw some verbal blows that hurt the girl. He's hated himself, living alone, ever since.
