I felt inspired to give a warm and wonderful message to all of you. I hope that this can bring a smile, and that you get it when you need. I hope you can look back on this and just feel better.
First of all, I want to say you have a spectacular smile. The things a smile can do are amazing. A smile can light up a room, bring someone up who's down, warm the heart of a bitter stranger. It's surprising how much even the smallest acts can do. Show that smile. If you have sight, if you have the ability to walk and talk and to hear, if you have a roof over your head and a bed to sleep in, then you have absolutely no reason to be sad. I'm not saying you don't have problems. I'm not even saying that you shouldn't be sad sometimes. But for the most part, life is good. Don't forget you're treasured, and you're important to at least one person. The people you will effect in the future will be hundreds, maybe even thousands, and I hope you can realize that you are beautiful.
Yes, you are beautiful. You are someone wonderful and you can do absolutely anything you want to. Life is still yours; life will always be yours. Your beauty comes from within; and beauty from within spreads so you're beautiful outside, too. Don't ever forget how pretty you are. The real beauty comes from standing for what you believe in and loving the ones around you. People won't always welcome you and realize how lovely you are, but don't doubt how wonderfully beautiful you are.
Second, your heart is the most wonderful part of you. Your heart (metaphorical heart) gives the ability to love. I want to tell you know there are a thousand different types of love. So use those many different types and love. Your heart will break, but it always heals with a scar. Use that scar for empathy and love. I hope you will, because it's the times when there's random acts of kindness that create warmth in other's heart. The best way to teach is by example, and I KNOW that you can change the world.
Third, you have a divine spirit. No matter what religion you are, know this: There is a divine purpose for you. Life is never, ever easy, but it is not without rewards. As a Christian, I know you have a place in heaven above. I hope you can prepare for that place. There is always a chance - so be a good person, and you'll make it. I have no worries that you are a good person. That divine spirit of yours will touch others, and I hope you realize that you are the only one who can be you.
Finally, I just want to say that you are worth it. Don't ever think that you're not worth all the good that comes your way. You deserve every bit of it. The problems you have - as long as you struggle through - will bring blessings. They may not be temperal blessings, but the blessings will come. You are loved. You are important, and you matter. You are amazing, and wonderful, and fantastic, and beautiful. Don't ever forget that I love you, as good friends.
And I hope, in time (if you don't already), you come to realize that your Savior and your Heavenly Father love you too.
