Newsoul borders between the world of kittenhuggers and proper Folami. She holds similar values to both worlds, a healthy balance of the two. However, she is ruthless and set in her teachings, too stubborn to wake up and smell the roses. She is a loyal girl, but to several different teams. Part of her wishes to accept that Folami can, indeed, feel love. But the words of her human mama sit firmly in place; Folami cannot love.
Even so, the woman is careful in her heat. She is not quick to anger, even with those who do not support her determination to be the image of Folami ways. The woman wants nothing more than to show Carska how silly all this kittenhugger, family junk is, and bring her back forward to the Folami pack so they can laugh about all this later. All in all, this girl is a decent individual, with no real radical beliefs and emotions.

History:
Newsoul, like most, was taken upon birth from the shedog that birthed her. Unlike most, she was not simply raised for a few months in a kind household. It was more than that. She had a child, a human child that loved her more than the world. For four months the pup, dubbed Newsoul by said child, was nursed and adored and trained to protect the child. Not that she had to be told to do so, that child was her everything.
With tear drowned eyes, Newsoul was torn from the tight grasps of the child by the child’s formally kind father. Newsoul watched as her small human wailed for her dog back, only to be picked up and forced away by the mother. The mother explained that Newsoul was not a pet, but bred to protect him. Not love. Newsoul was not capable of the love that housedogs were. Newsoul was hurt by these words, but as the new few moons of harsh training was given by her former human dad, she flipped the words over in her mind and convinced herself they were true. Folami were bred to seek and destroy, not love. Even her loyalty to her neighboring shedog would not be allowed to be considered love. Ah, Carska could be her best friend always. But never could Newsoul toy the word love.
When Carska was released, Newsoul had to fight back the demons saying she was heartbroken. Her only friend, the only one she trusted, was gone. A little voice that Carska would be a loner, so when she was released a month later, Newsoul avoided the pack. After a year, Newsoul came across a male Folami who had taken to wandering as a loner, too. Neither loved the other, but each felt guilty for not joining the pack, so they mated and decided they would donate their children to the pack. Four months after the children were born, a small band of tigers caught wind of them and began to stalk them. After a month of harassments, the tiger band attacked, stealing the lives of the male and two children. Newsoul barely escaped with her life.
Just recently she has heard Carska’s name being tossed around through the grapevine. Newsoul is following the pointing paws and has determined to uncover the whereabouts of her friend.
