Strength is the key to survival, in her mind, and she won't let any weak links ruin the chain.

History: Jate was born like any other. She was built by the humans, born from a worthless mother capable of nothing but child birth and given to a kind human. At first skeptical of the warm hearted male, due to a keen set of instincts, Jate was slow to thaw but eventually did so. She had made quite a bond with the young man, when she was taken from him to be trained. Her trust of the humans was broken, though she did not hate them. She found that they demanded respect, and she couldn't help but give them that.
