Personality: Izaray has always been the boss. She immediately took after her father and followed his giant footsteps in all walks of life. She has grown from the close-minded and juvenile princess she once was into a cruel but wondrous queen. She truly does care for the well-being of her pride, but image is everything to her. She still finds cubs a nuisance and can't find herself to give pity to the weak, her disgust for cowardice unmatched. Strength is needed in her mind and must be shadowed, step for step, by a skill in taking orders.
Despite her normal tactics, she has a surprisingly less sharp side to her, though it all ties back to her need for strength. She has goals in mind that make sure the weak in her pride are fed first, given water, and trained gradually. She lets a motherly quality take place, though it is more so how her father treated his family.
History: Born to Akando Pride, her mother took her away for a short while, as is the custom. When they returned, everyone found that the daughter of Ezhno was exactly like her father. Izaray immediately took over the other cubs around, even though they were older than her. Eventually, they became full grown lions but they all still feared her sharp tounge and her heritage. This fear was mixed well with annoyance and dislike. But she was royalty, and they were her peasants.
Eventually, the young princess crossed paths with a pale male cub named Ackecheta, literally bumping into him out of the blue. After engaging in a fight, alongside this stranger and her own father, Ackecheta was accepted into the pride and the two became fast friends. They bonded over a common hatred of the soft hearted and a deep respect for Izaray's father, Ezhno.
As they grew up inside what Izaray saw as a war boot camp, they were trained and groomed for the battle against Zonta, shamefully lost as their allies, Ende, slipped away in the climax. As they were saw fit for battle, their grooming became more intense as Izaray was built up for the throne with Ackecheta at her side. During all of this, their passion for each other grew from deep friendship into what could only be seen as love. Nothing got in the way of their loyalty to Ezhno, though.
Many months later, Izaray gave witness her father's death in a one-on-one battle, obvious at the beginning that he was fighting for his life. At his death, the opponent was killed by another feline and given safe passage for disposing of the murderer. With Ezhno passed, Izaray took the throne and continued Akando's reign in the start of rainy season.
