He can be goofy and is fun loving and even a little mischevious. His mind is always thinking, though normaly about some random topic rather then what he should be thinking about. Though he can be goofy, Tej is very serieoise about the feline predicament. He searches as hard as he can for the peace he so dreams of. He has recently had a painful wound in his heart opened again, so he has been a little hard to reach.
What made them decide to escape?:
History: Born into bars. Taraji never knew natural light or grass until much later in his life. Seperated from his mother as soon as possible, he was taken into the home of a rich murder ape. That's where he met Sila. She had also been seperated from her mother. They confessed their fear and saddness to each other and eventually became best friends. Eventually they were able to sense the murder apes growing weary of Taraji's size. They found an open window just in time and escaped to the wild together.
They traveled for many miles together, growing closer every day, until Taraji realized that he loved her. The young male confessed his love after many days of painful agonizing, and found that she loved him too. They went on together, as a couple. It was not possible for them to be happier.
Then trajedy happened. They heard the thunder of a deathstick, and ran for their lives. They were running along a canyon that had a river at the bottom. Sila slipped, and tumbled down into the depths. Taraji was frozen solid. He couldn't believe that had just happened. When he finally got ahold of himself, he raced down into the canyon, trying to find her. For hours he searched. But to no avail. The water had swept her away.
No more then a week later, he found himself under a large tree. Tearstains on his cheeks. Not able to think. Not able to feel. Dio sent him his dream to show him his path and he was still confused. If he couldn't even handle this, how would he ever be able to unite the cats of the world. This was when Bhuvana, Alec, and Alia found him. They set off together on their journeys, all with past horrors to shed.
Many months later, a small, 7 month old tiger cub with a deformed paw came up to him. His first reaction was that she was not right in the head, for her eyes were crazed looking and the first thing out of her mouth was "Are you Taraji?". When he replied with yes she proceded to tell him that he was her father. Despite his ramblings that that was not possible, she explained that her mother had survived the tumble, and had at the time been pregnent. She had given birth to this cub, named Kaira, and raised her, but then a month ago had been killed by giant wolves. Kaira had known who her father was and come looking for him.
Now he travels with his daughter and companions, searching for peace. He is still a little shocked about Sila having been alive. He hopes it is not to late to be a father to his daughter and his only reminder of his one love.
