Went on a relatively easy hike called Roaring Run today. Though it has very little elevation change, and it is quite short, the catch are the waterfalls. I was unable to take many pictures today because Midge was being pretty disobedient. I had to jump into the churning water 3 TIMES because she went on slippery rocks and was all together careless. Then she took off when we headed back and we didn't see her until we got to the parking lot...so I was too disgrunted/distracted to many pictures. If I am in a picture (which I am in most of them) it is because Jen stole my camera from Midge's backpack while I chased Midge away from slippery rocks....over and over again...She wasn't sure-footed so the shots aren't very good, but she tried to snap images of me chasing Midge along the calmer sections of river...That dog will be (and almost was several times) the death of me.
Also, on this hike, there are numerous mild waterfalls that are natural slides. I went on the bigger one years ago, and it felt so good to get on it again. Water was about 20 or so degrees and the air was about 77 degrees....perfection <3 The video is me. Bhu's Big Butt on a Roaring Run fall :)
