The Extraordinary }{ fantasy roleplay

In a world of tall trees with arching branches, it is the perfect shelter for things unheard of to become. The perfect protection for dragons both young and old, for the enchanting unicorn to rest his horn, or for a family to be raised nearly without fear. It is a paradise, of sorts, where it is untouched by the ordinary and in it remains only the extraordinary.
And here the extraordinary flourish. Vibrant flowers, peaceful places, it has created an ecosystem that only this place can have. It is another world. It is a world of what some would call magic; but those who know better would call it mystery...
It is here that anything can happen.

Starts on a rainy day, in a place like a rainforest though will wildlife completely unique. If several IC days go by, the weather can change as is decided.
Please use one post for your characters. If more characters are added, please just edit your original post of characters. No limit; but use discretion. This is only a thread, not a whole forums.

Akreal


Akreal was born male. But he was bored being only male. With a little bit of determination, he found he could literally change himself to be biologically female or biologically neither or both genders. So he does that. Often. Never staying one gender or the other for too long, he'll often flip back and forth.
It's a little disorienting finding a male suddenly turning into a female right in front of your eyes. But that's Akreal for you.
Easily bored of pretty much anything, Akreal never pays attention. While his body often stays in one spot - he's lazy - his mind wanders. In fact you can see him flipping through genders like the pages of a book. He's thinking.
When sleeping, he reverts back to his natural male state. But when awake, he of course constantly switches around.
