Personality:
If you walk alone you can't be forgotten. So used to being second best in a race of two, Taka has all but given up on himself. The brute realizes his potential does not lie within his strength, so he builds up in knowledge at any and all expense. The man avoids creating emotional ties, seeing the world as it is; manipulative and self-serving.
The beast is hard-working, or rather, efficient. He is always open to any task and will complete it with cold calculation. He does not complain or allow the world to wear him weary. Cruel, he uses those too foolish to avoid him as his own little puppets. And, when the they become broken or useless, he does what anyone does to worn-down puppets; he burns them and tosses their ashes by the wayside.
Part of Taka knows that what he does and how he views the world is wrong. But if his family has taught him anything, it is that the weak get left behind. Taka will never grown to be a physically strong man, so he has to build his barriers now while his mind is easy to mold, and absorb what the world has to teach. Friends and family only get in the way; emotions only block away logic.
History:
Taka was born in Africa to a King and Queen. The pair had two sons, Taka being one of them. It didn't take long for them to notice that one son was far stronger built than the other. This man was dubbed the first choice heir to the throne. Taka, though having been first born, would only get the kingdom if something happened to both father and brother.
The siblings were great friends, each deaf and blind to the talk of royalty. It wasn't until they reached their second month that it became clear that the days of equality were over. Each was judged based on size, and this left Taka on the wrong end of the tracks. At first, Taka was fine with his younger brother being the heir. Taka could do without power and responsibility. It wasn't until his brother became overwhelmed with his lessons and his time with Taka grew less and less, until they were only seeing each other at bedtime, that Taka's alarms went off. It became typical for Taka's brother and father to disapear all day, leaving Taka with the woman and newborns. Taka became spiteful of his sibling and father's relationship. His mother was busy with a new litter, as were the other lioness'. Taka had not socialized with anyone except his brother during his first two months, so the cubs his age already had friendships and there was no room for him in their groups. No one even noticed when he wasn't there.
One day, while off saundering on his own, mumbling about the cruielties of his family overlooking him, the man was captured by Murder Apes. Being small and agile, he escaped his crate and ran off the boat as soon as they reached the mainland. He has been lost, alone, and grudging ever since.
And he often wonders if his family even knows he's gone.
Extra note: He is going to join Akando.
